“Sexual harassment on the job is not a problem for virtuous women.”
Phyllis Schlafly
… or is it only immoral women that have a problem with it?
What do anti-feminists think of this quote by their fellow anti-feminist?
Anti-feminists, if you’re going to answer my question please answer it. Thank you!

am scheduled to return to work tomorrow 6/2 from maternity leave…I have currently been on fmla maternity leave for 8 weeks and 1 day…I used 2 weeks intermittently prior to going on full maternity leave…I still have 2 weeks of leave available according to the FMLA laws…if I call my employer to tell them I will not be returning until 6/3 as opposed to 6/2 by law they cannot fire me correct?
what if the doctor wrote a note advising I was able to return to work as of 6/2? Does that have any bearing on my situation?
dewhat noone asked you to judge me and for your information I work in a call center…so my coworkers aren’t missing me at all and noone is having to do any extra work…jerk!!
thank you windy that’s exactly what I thought.

I work for a very small company (under 10 employees) – i have always been a good employee however in the last 6 months i have gotten divorced from a mentally ill spouse, moved 2 times, dealt with real estate and divorce lawyers, cared for a parent with cancer, tried to stay on top of my treatments for past cancer scare, and raise 2 kids that i have sole custody of. Sometimes I am distracted – do you blame me? Now he wants to talk to me tomorrow – Do I have rights?

I am starting a new job in a couple weeks. I am also due to have a baby in November. I want to take 12 weeks off with my baby. A friend told me that to qualify for FMLA, you have to have steady employment for the past year, but everything I’ve read says that you have to be employed at your workplace for one year. I have a feeling my friend is wrong, but I want so much for her to be right. Are there new FMLA guidelines coming out?
yes – I’ve looked up that stuff myself. I guess I was just hoping there were some new guidelines or something that I had missed. Oh well. Got my hopes up for nothing…

I worked at a bar, they told me i was fired for customer service. Then it came out later that I was let go because my regulars mostly drink beer, which isnt as profitable as liquor.

I am a new supervisor at the company where I work. Next week, we are having training classes for two days on new software we are installing. One of my employees is on maternity leave and I really think it would benefit her to take the classes. Am I breaking any laws if I call her at home and tell her to come in two days next week for the classes?

I really need to find out in the written law where FMLA states the HR Dept. is not allowed to tell my supervisor my medical condition. Please help me?
The below links probably have the information, but where? does anyone know?
