Double no.
I’ve attempted to experience it, but no luck so far.
You bet! I told him to keep his hands to himself in front of other people & when he wouldn’t I went to our HR person who did nothing.
Then I was actually accused of sexual harassment by another idiot who tried to sexually harass me & my best friend a fews years back. [At that time, I told him that if he didn't stop bothering us I would let his supervisor know what he was doing.] He was trying to get back at me because I had refused his advances years ago & then had to tell him this last year that his job performance was not up to standard.
i used to harass the girls i worked with all the time. except technically it wasn’t harassment, cause it has to be unwanted advances. we all joked back and forth.
now, i take these issues seriously. i work security for a store and as a police officer. when i do get complaints, i forward them up the proper chain, and i have a “chat” with the offending assoc.
Kathy m, if you report it and no one does anything about it, sue the pants off of the place you work for. you can get millions. because since you let someone know, it now becomes an official sexual harassment. and they are now negligent.
When I was in high school, I worked at a fast food place with a bunch of teenage boys. Pretty much everything they said could have been considered sexual harassment, but you just have to let it go. It would have to be something serious, like seeing someone be touched in a sexual way, for me to actually report it.
Experienced it—–Heck, I’ve done it.
Yes, I have experienced it, and no I didn’t do anything about it. I felt that I could “handle” it, and that it wasn’t “disrupting my work.” Very stupid way to feel about it, but it is too late now.
When I was working in urgent care in a clinic I was chaperone in the room with a doctor who was performing a pelvic exam on a female patient. I happened to notice his facial expression was not “professional”. I reported it to my supervisor who in turn reported it to the administrator.
The doctor was not terminated. Probably had a contract with the HMO
yes and yes but nothing got solved so i had to quit
